Meredith himself thought it his best novel, and the character Renée de Croisnel was his favorite of his creations.This smaller, 112 year old book is in overall fair to good condition for its age: Cover: marks and wear at edges and corners Spine: marks and wear at ends Pages: overall decent condition with a few age marks/spots, folded corners and small tears. Most pages are clean. A couple pages are a bit crinkled and there is rust stain from a paper clip on a couple pages (see picture) Edges: age marks and darkening.
