Honoring Truth and Reconciliation Day Through Community Outreach (Septemeber 30, 2025)
On this Truth and Reconciliation Day, our church community came together in a spirit of reflection, learning, and compassion. This day calls us to remember the experiences of Indigenous peoples, acknowledge the harms of the past, and commit ourselves to meaningful steps toward healing and understanding.

As part of our observance, we organized a special outreach initiative to support local Indigenous families and organizations. Through food hampers, clothing donations, and shared moments of conversation, we sought to demonstrate our respect and solidarity in a tangible way. Although small, each act of kindness reflects our desire to walk a path of reconciliation—one built on listening, empathy, and genuine partnership.

Truth and Reconciliation Day reminds us that reconciliation is not a single event but an ongoing journey. Our church is committed to learning, unlearning, and standing alongside Indigenous communities with humility and love. We are thankful to everyone who contributed, volunteered, or took time to reflect with us.
May we continue to honor the truth, foster understanding, and work together for a future rooted in justice, dignity, and hope.
