Thus, saith the Lord… “Taking Territories in Year 2022”

1. Prophecy is a communication of Spirit to spirit
“For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:21 ESV

2. Prophecy can be released to go ahead of a man
“Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you, based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles.” 1 Tim 1:18 NLT

3. Prophecy (source) can be positive or negative
“She kept doing this for many days. Paul became annoyed, turned to the evil spirit, and said, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” As Paul said this, the evil spirit left her.” Acts 16:18 GWT
“Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, When the Lord has not commanded it?” Lam 3:37

4. The Scripture encompasses prophecies
“For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:21 ESV

5. The prophecy of scriptures is weightier than the prophecy by men
“And so we have the prophetic word confirmed” 2 Peter 1:19 KJV

6. You are a prophet over your life
“You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you” Job 22:28 NKJV

7. Sometimes prophecy can fail or change
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Num 23:19 NKJV

“Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.” 2 kings 20:5

8. Why do prophecies fail?
Failure to understand and obey the conditions attached to prophecy

CONCLUSION

1) Adherence to the principles (conditions) of prophecy, guarantee the manifestation of the prophecy.
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him” 1 John 5:14-15

2) God’s Word exposes the principles, while the Holy Spirit enables us in fulfilling the principles.

3) In year 2022, don’t just receive the prophecy without the conditions.
