This listing is for an Op Art inspired color block scarf by Vera Neumann. I would date this piece to the 1970s. The bold stripe pattern in combination with equally strong color palette is quite wonderful. The soft silk blend material drapes beautifully and scarf is quite generous in size measuring about 44 x 15”. It has hand rolled edges and it was manufactured in Japan. The overall condition of the piece is good, but not excellent or pristine. There is slight puckering in places, a couple of pin pricks and some understated discoloration. None of these flaws are very pronounced or detract from the overall beauty of this piece. Please note that the color in some of the images is slightly distorted. Perfect for everyday use. first-class materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
