Antique brass pillow / oyster purse with chain strap and brass latch that closes properly. Velvety interior has a few tiny age spots and is pretty fragile. Not sure of age. Maybe 1920s Art Deco and could be made in India but it could be a 1950s / mid-century reproduction…seems incredibly old. I’ve seen similar that have mother of pearl inlays and this one does not but it’s possible it used to and they were removed.
