Vintage carved ivory Indian-motif salt and pepper shakers

Pre-1950 carved ivory salt and pepper shakers crafted in India. Hand-sculpted adorable spice vessels, each with a sweet yet ironic scene depicting Indian (Asian) elephants. Most of the above photos faintly but proudly show the Schreger lines fabled in song and story.
